Safety 1st is a division of J & M Consulting. The company was founded by Jeffrey and Michele Evans in 2008.

Retiring in 2001, he has worked for two major construction managemet companies in the area of safety and training. Gunny's passion for motivating people, speaking and safety practices has led him to branch out to assist organizations worldwide in preventing accidents, including "My Brother's Keeper"; and extensive safety training and motivational program.
Michele "Mimi" Evans
 Michele is the Administrator for Safety First, and the chief consultant for J & M Consulting's HR Services Division. She is also the co-owner and artist for the couples second company, J & M Designs. Michele holds a Master's in Business Administration and shares Gunny's passion for best practice safety measurements across America's workforce.
